Football club NK Maribor was founded on 12 December 1960.

We have won the Slovenian league title 11 times
(1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013)

We have won the Slovenian cup title 8 times
(1992, 1994, 1997, 1999, 2004, 2010, 2012, 2013)

We have been crowned Supercup champions of Slovenia on three occasions (2009, 2012, 2013), and besides being successful in domestic competitions, we have also excelled in the European competitions. NK Maribor remains the only Slovenian club to qualify for the UEFA Champions League (1999), the UEFA Europa League (2011, 2012), and in 2006 we won the Intertoto Cup.

The team plays its home games in purple jerseys, whereas the away kit is white.		The official club crest is to be used only in the following versions
